Today is the second to last day of April! Here is today's calendar square.
What is this shape? It's not a polygon because it has rounded edges. Is it a circle? No. Is it an oval? No. It's an egg shape! Where can you fold it to make 2 equal parts?
Learning activities for Wednesday
- Wellness
- Play Salad bowl - Each person in the family writes down a person, place, or thing on a little piece of paper and puts it in a bowl. Then take turns acting out each thing and have people guess (charades).
- Reading
- Log on to Bookflix (Username: summitst Password: bookflix).
- Choose a nonfiction book.
- Stop on each page and jot down on a post it note about what that page was mostly about.
- Math
- Play Bump. (It's easy to draw your own)
- Did you know that if you Google "roll a dice" it brings up a virtual dice!
- Make sure you are counting up from the larger number to add.
